(PCS) -Last date for Submission of bids -regarding
In continuous of our extension notice of even number dated 02/02/2006
& 17/02/2006 with regard to the Tender No. IPA/EDP/EDI/WBPCS/2005
dated issued on 16/12/2005 by the Indian Ports Association for
Design, Development/Supply, Installation, Customization, Implementation
and Support of Centralized Web Based - Port Community System
(PCS), the prospective bidders are requested to take note that:
1. The last date for
the submission of bids has been further extended. The bids can
now be submitted on or before 15:30 hrs on the 16th March 2006.
2. The time & date for
the opening of the technical bids is: 16:00 hrs on the 16th
March 2006.

In regard to the Tender No. IPA/EDP/EDI/WBPCS/2005 dated issued
on 16/12/2005 by the Indian Ports Association for Design, Development/Supply,
Installation, Customization, Implementation and Support of Centralized
Web Based - Port Community System (PCS), the prospective bidders
are requested to take note that:
1. The last date for

submitted on or before 15:30 hrs on the 27th February 2006.
2. The time & date for
the opening of the technical bids is: 16:00 hrs on the 27th
February 2006.

Inviting Tender (NIT)
(International Competitive Bidding)
IPA invites Global Tender for the "Design, Development/
Supply, installation, customization, implementation and support
of Centralized Web based-Port Community System (PCS) for all
the ports of India".
1. The PCS, will function as the centralized hub for ports of
India and other stakeholders like Shipping Lines/Agents, Surveyors,
Stevedores, Banks, Container Freight Stations, Government regulatory
agencies, Custom House Agents, Importers, Exporters, Transporters,
etc for exchanging electronic messages in a secure manner using
the latest technologies.
2. A complete set of tender documents containing
the details on the scope of work, terms and conditions, functional
and technical specifications, technical bid and price bid can
be purchased by interested Bidders on any working day between
11:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs from 16/12/2005
to 16/01/2006 on submission of a written application
to the Managing Director, Indian Ports Association at the address
given below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of INR 10,000/-
(Indian Rupees Ten Thousand Only) or USD 250 (US Dollar Two
hundred fifty only) towards the cost of the tender documents.
The method of payment will be Demand draft/ Banker's cheque
drawn on any Nationalized or Scheduled Bank in favour of the
Managing Director, Indian Ports Association and payable in New
Delhi. Those who wish to get the tender documents by post shall
remit an additional fee of INR 1000/- (Indian Rupees one thousand
only) or USD 50 (US Dollar fifty only) The bid documents will
be sent by speed post / courier.
The completed tender documents should be sent
to the Managing Director, Indian Ports Association, at the address
given below so as to reach him on or before 15:30
hrs on 15/02/2006.
